The free clipboard for text, images and files now with a revised user interface and usability as well as numerous new functions that accelerate and simplify work.

Munich, September 14, 2011 – Jumping Bytes, the creator of the cell phone sync software Mobile Master releases version 2.0 of Clipboard Master. Alongside a revised user interface, the free tool now offers fixed clipboards, optimized collection, a standard and professional view of the settings as well as short keys to complete standard expressions and usages.

Clipboard Master stores and manages text, images and files for an unlimited or definable time in a clipboard which remains available even after the computer is shut down. All copied content is available to the user at all times, clearly sorted for use in various PC applications. For example, frequently used elements such as salutations, special characters or other text templates can be stored and then pasted into any program. Multiple elements can be compiled into a so-called collection and then pasted into a new document with a single click. For example, if the user would like to filter out the ingredients of an interesting recipe on the Internet, they simply have to mark and copy the ingredients distributed throughout the screen. They are automatically added to the collection by Clipboard Master and are available in the original order of being copied.

New: Fixed Clipboard

With version 2.0 of Clipboard Master, Jumping Bytes has introduced the so-called "fixed clipboard" for pasting frequently used words, sentences or images. Fixed clipboards are windows that always remain in the foreground and allow the user to easily store frequently used elements via key combination or mouse click and then paste them to any document.

New: Short Keys

Users that write a great deal can significantly accelerate their work by using so-called "short keys". Predefined or user-defined abbreviations are automatically completed in combination with a key combination. For example, "apd" becomes "as previously discussed". Especially practical: Short keys work system-wide and can be used not only in Windows Word, but in all programs that the user uses with text. If the user, for example, responds to an email in Outlook with "dms", the salutation will not only be expanded as "Dear Ms.", but the last name will also be added automatically.

Optimized Settings and Collections

Alongside the normal standard view, the user can now activate a professional view with advanced settings. For example, the formatting can be removed from text elements here as can line breaks for longer URLs. The collections view has also been optimized with version 2.0 of Clipboard Master. It is now clearer and easier for the user to access. Tip: With the combination Win + V, the elements of a collection will be pasted into a new document separated by commas.

Jumping Bytes has also introduced context help as well as a new program icon with version 2.0 of Clipboard Master. The mouse support has been improved; Clipboard Master can now be navigated with the mouse wheel.
