Freeware Clipboard Master 3.1 now with integrated zipper

Munich, August 6, 2013 - Jumping Bytes, the creator of the cell phone sync software Mobile Master, has released update 3.1 to its multi-clipboard Clipboard Master.

Clipboard Master stores and manages text, images and files for an unlimited or definable time in a clipboard. Using the global context menu available in version 3.0 and higher, users are provided with all copied content at all times, clearly sorted for use in PC applications. Even though the last update was just released a few weeks ago, the sync specialist is already offering new functions here: with version 3.1, the user receives a free file zipper.

The zipping of files as well as the unzipping of archives functions quickly and easily: The user copies the file and pastes it directly using the context menu (or via keyboard shortcut) as a zipped archive in the desired application or target folder. Zipping and pasting are thus conducted in a single step. If the archive is to be sent via email, the user simply creates a new email message and pastes the archive into the email via context menu or key combination. A password query can optionally be activated for security-relevant content.

Users can also copy, zip and paste multiple files. All files are zipped into an archive via hotkey (second Alt key + Z) or by clicking in the context menu. The special feature here is that users no longer have to keep holding the Ctrl key to copy multiple files as is often necessary with Windows programs and other zip programs. The clipboard detects all previously copied files in the background as usual and then adds these to the archive.

This means: Anyone used to key combinations can copy the desired file with a hotkey and zip and paste it using an additional hotkey. The unzipping of files works in the same way with the exception that in this case the files are unzipped and simultaneously pasted. Anyone who prefers to work with the context menu only needs to two clicks for this process.

Clipboard Master stores and manages text, images and files for an unlimited or definable time in a clipboard which remains available even after the computer is shut down. All copied content is available to the user at all times, clearly sorted for use in various PC applications. For example, frequently used elements such as salutations, special characters or other text templates can be stored and then pasted into any program. Multiple elements can be compiled into a so-called collection and then pasted into a new document with a single click. For example, if the user would like to filter out the ingredients of an interesting recipe on the Internet, they simply have to mark and copy the ingredients distributed throughout the screen. Collections start automatically in Clipboard Master and remain available in the original order they were copied. "Fixed clipboards" are available for frequently used words, sentences or images. Fixed clipboards are windows that remain in the foreground and allow the user to easily store frequently used elements via key combination or mouse click and then paste them into any document. Users that frequently write can significantly accelerate their work process by using so-called hotkeys. Predefined or user-defined abbreviations are automatically completed in combination with a key combination (). For example, "apd" becomes "as previously discussed".
