The free multi-clipboard stores text, images or files with no time limit

Munich, January 13, 2011 – Jumping Bytes, the creator of the cell phone sync software Mobile Master releases the final version of Clipboard Master 1.0. The freeware provides a multi-clipboard for the storing and pasting of text, images and files. Text templates can also be easily managed and stored. All content copied to the clipboard is chronologically sorted and available for all Windows applications. Users can have up to one thousand entries per clipboard; these are stored indefinitely and continue to be available after the computer is restarted.

The stored entries can be organized into multiple clipboard for improved clarity. Clipboard Master provides predefined folders for this, such as Letters & Salutations, Special Characters or Date and Time. The clipboard can be opened via the tray icon or the key combination Win + V. Clicking on F4 shows all templates. Clipboard Master is hidden with the Esc key, but remains permanently running in the background.

Pasting of text and text templates

Practical for working with text: Frequently used text templates can - also with formatting - be stored and pasted into any Windows application with just a few clicks. There are predefined text templates for salutations, letters, special characters or HTML codes. Files are pasted from the clipboard as complete files in Explorer or simply as the file name in a text. Pasting also works for temporary entry fields that are only displayed when needed, such as for renaming a file in Windows Explorer.

Macro functions for text templates

Experienced users can use macros in the text templates that, for example, can paste the current date, the content of a file or user information. All available macros are described at http://urly.de/de851.

With integrated URL shortener

Clipboard Master can automatically paste URLs in a shortened form using an integrated URL shortener. This is very practical for Twitter or other microblogging services. Here's how it works: Simply copy the original URL to the clipboard and press second Alt key + U instead of Ctrl + V. Clipboard Master now pastes the URL to the desired location in shortened form. Overview of Additional Functions:

• Key combinations are adjustable and can be defined
• Replacement of coded characters: coded characters are automatically converted and correctly pasted. For example, blank spaces and umlauts are displayed coded in HTML code, with "Türöffner" instead of "Türöffner". Clipboard Master automatically converts the code to text, in this case "Türöffner" (automatically or manually).
• Conversion of numbers: Clipboard Master converts number from/to decimal, hexadecimal and binary form; 2557 becomes 0x9FD (or vice versa). This is very helpful for programmers/software developers.
• The position of the mouse cursor remains constant while pasting. With other clipboard tools, the entry window sometimes disappears, such as when a file is renamed.
• Formatted text: Clipboard Master saves text with formatting and pastes it with or without formatting
• Quick searching and finding in the lists
• Optimized keyboard operation: Clipboard Master is optimized for fast pasting using the keyboard
• Collections: Multiple elements can be compiled as collections. Simply start a collection using the tray icon menu and stored one word after another in the clipboard. A collection will automatically be created that can be pasted entirely into a text document.
