How do I delete individual or all entries?

Very easily: Open Clipboard Master, e.g. with Win + V, mark the entry or entries and press Delete (or select it using the context menu). Delete all entries: Open Clipboard Master, mark all with Ctrl + A (you may have to press it twice) and Delete

How do I limit the number of entries?

By default, up to 300 entries are saved in a list and older entries are deleted. If this too few or too many for you, you can change this number:

  1. Open Clipboard Master (e.g. with Win + V)
  2. Display the list with the clipboards, e.g. with Left Cursor.
  3. Now open the clipboard properties: Alt + Insert or using the context menu
  4. You can change the max. number of entries here

Can old entries be automatically deleted?

Yes

  3. Now open the clipboard properties: Alt + Insert or using the context menu
  4. Display the "Advanced" tab
  5. Activate and configure option for automatic deletion

I don't want the passwords that I store and copy in a password manager to end up in Clipboard Master. What do I do?

Add an exception:

  1. Open the program in which Clipboard Mater should not save the entries
  2. In the Clipboard Master tray icon menu, select: Settings -> In ... -> Do Not Save -> All

You can also change, add or delete these exceptions manually in the Settings -> Clipboard -> "Exceptions and Program-Specific Settings".

How can I save an image from the list as a JPG, BMP or GIF file?

Press the right mouse button on the entry in the list. In the context menu, select Image -> Save Image(s) As. You can now select the desired format under file type in the save file dialog.

Can I use both modes, the quick menu (simple list) and complete display?

Yes, define an additional global key combination in the settings:

  1. Click on the tray icon and select Settings -> Settings -> Global Key Combinations.
  2. Click on the "New" button or press Ctrl + N .
  3. Type the desired key combination and select "Display Clipboard" or "Display Quick Menu" under "Assigned Action".
